As one of the top tech leads for WhatsApp, he played a key role in launching products like WhatsApp Pay to merchants in India and Brazil, WhatsApp Commerce, and WhatsApp Flows. Before his time at WhatsApp, Sabir was a crucial member of Careem's maps engineering group, making significant contributions before its multi-billion dollar acquisition by Uber.
